Ivy Coast was born from lived experience. At 34, founder Nikki Amabile faced a melanoma diagnosis and saw a clear gap: most UPF clothing targeted women 55+, leaving younger, style-minded women underserved. That wake-up call sparked Ivy Coast.
Nikki’s path started even earlier—moving to New York at 17 to study fashion—rooted in a lifelong pull toward design and entrepreneurship.
Her grandmother’s story adds depth: a gifted creative accepted to FIT who never got the chance to pursue fashion, a reminder of the ambition running through generations and the women who paved the way.
